Sweet Baby Kate

I had to share a couple of images of sweet baby Kate for her mommy. She is simply precious and just two weeks old. Perfect, fresh and oh so new! I love photographing newborns because like Kate’s mommy said today to me, you cannot get these days back! I will share some more of her in the next week or two so check back for more.

Back in town

Just a quick note to wave hi and say I am back in town. I am getting caught up with email and voice mails today and will be finishing the sessions that are due this week! Houston was HOT and HUMID and my PPA workshop was all business and very intense but so worth it. Now it is back to real life.
I am starting to book Fall sessions so you might want to start looking at your calendar and booking your date because the weekends go FAST! I warn you… it is July (almost) but Christmas is right around the corner!

Wrapping things up

It has been a while! I have been busy wrapping things up, placing your orders, making calls, and finishing galleries for those of you who just recently had your shoots. I say wrapping things up because I am going to be out of the office all next week on a business trip. I wish I could say I am going to be out of the office next week on a fabulous trip to an exotic destination or at least to somewhere cool and not humid… but no I will be in Houston crunching numbers and learning to be a better business person. Oh my – so much fun…. who wants a real vacation when you can spend day after day locked up in a hotel conference room with a bunch of accountants?!!! 🙂

I wanted to make sure to post a quick preview of this family session before leaving so here it is… Hope you guys like these images! I had a great time and I can’t wait to show you the rest!

Teens

Do I do senior pictures? YES! I am in the process of dedicating an area of my site to them.
Children and families I love but you see… Seniors and Teens in general stay STILL! Ahhhhh what a nice change of pace every once in a while 😉 No chasing, no play breaks… Gorgeous faces and a sense of style and we are set for a fab photo shoot….

You might be seeing these two again in a few months…

Brooke and Lauren

Yeahhh it is sunny again! Looks like the rain is staying away for good now.
*Ok well maybe not* – I was writting this, and my hubby made me get up and go out to dinner and well we just came back and we barely made it home dry – HUGE storm going on right now… ACKKKK!!!!!

Anyway… amazingly, despite all the rain we had we managed to sneak in an outdoor session with Brooke and Lauren (+mom and dad!). I am thrilled because I think we got some fabulous family and sibling images and those are always tricky! Of course, there are great ones of each of these gorgeous girls 🙂
It was so nice to meet you guys – I had such a good time! Thanks for being so patient and so fun – I can’t wait to show you the rest of the images we captured.

Take two

You probably saw their park pictures on the previous entry. I truly loved what we got on our fist session but I was feeling only “so so” about the variety of images we had. So this is take two… And for me this is mission accomplished – I am absolutely *thrilled* – I hope mom and dad will be too 🙂 Here are the first two that I quickly opened and loved. Can’t wait to show you guys the rest – These two are just too cute!

Double the FUN!

Some say Double Trouble when referring to twins… I say double the FUN and you will too when you see these pictures! 😉 These two handsome guys sure gave me (well me *and* mom and dad) a workout during our session this weekend! But it was SOOOO worth it because we got some gorgeous images…!!!
